  1. Hello. I would like to let you know that I hope this coin legislation is approved, in order to honor the U.S. Wisconsin Senator, Robert M. LaFollette, Sr–aka, “Fighting Bob.” A little biasim here because I am a LaFollette; Robert LaFollette’s father’s brother led down to me! I am very proud of his service to our great country and look to him for personal and work inspiration in my life. I do live here in DC and work down on the Hill, in the press corps, so I like to think that I am where I am today, and my thinking, due to that “Fighting Bob” LaFollette spirit and dedication. Every time I pass his statue and his portrait, I think upon his dedication to his community, his state and his nation, and I hope that I, too, in my own way, continue with his service. Thank you for this opportunity to leave a reply and my opinion about a commemorative coin. It would be a nice way of honoring this dedicated individual in our Nation’s history. Regards, Marianna LaFollette
